Montana Family Trip and Getaway
A one day trip perfectly planned to meet the needs of both those who really do not want to get wet and the adrenaline junkie. We will take those who want all of the thrills of a whitewater experience on the whitewater portion, and those that want to experience the water but in a very safe no splashing mode on the scenic portion. The scenic portion is also perfect for the younger set and gives a great adventure watching the abundant birdlife, traveling through deep miniature canyons, stopping for lunch, and discovering safe play places to splash and swim if desired. The scenic portion is slightly shorter which makes the logistics perfect for the day.
- Everyone rides together to the first put in. We give our safety instruction talk to everyone and drop the whitewater crowd off.
- The whitewater people say good bye and go down to the river for their big adventure. They will have lunch on the river.
- Meanwhile the scenic group leaves for a short drive to their put in on the river.
- The scenic group will get on the river where the whitewater crowd will take out off the river 5 hours later.
- The scenic group starts their adventure on the river which also includes lunch and will take out in 4 hours.
- This is a little shorter and much easier for smaller children with shorter interest spans. This part of the river is not nearly as crowded and gives a feeling of having the river just to yourself.
- The scenic group travels back to where they started their river trip and watch as the whitewater people pull off the river.
- Both groups have tale to share and excitement to talk about. No one is overwhelmed by an adventure level that they do not want to experience.
- A stop by the photo trailer to see the action shots and then back to your vehicles.
- Fun and stories are had by all.

Family Camping on the Blackfoot River
June only - 2 day 26 mile rafting/camping trip.
This is a private trip just for your Montana family vacation adventure. We will supply everything that you will need and do all of the set up, take down, cooking and clean up. This raft/camping trip is a little more civilized then the longer multi-day trips because we are close to everything but has the adventure of the longer raft trips. We have chosen the famous Blackfoot River because of the opportunity for safe fun and the indescribable scenery. The camp offers swimming in the eddy and a large beach to play on. Nearby is a huge colony of ground squirrels to entertain those who just want to sit and watch the world.
This is your time to be waited upon and leave the work to us. This river offers the perfect opportunity for family camping with children 6 and up or for multigenerational families. Time together to laugh, play, and not worry about the outside world. Try this short experience before a more adventurous long trip. The rapids are between novice and intermediate, and the campground has a permanent outdoor restroom facilitates.

- All camping equipment, tent, sleeping pad, sleeping bag, splash suit.
- A menu designed for your family (day 1-lunch and dinner, and day 2, breakfast and lunch).
- An evening of games and camp fire activities.
