We are always mindful of our responsibility to the river. Our crew believes in conservation. Each trip includes:
- learning about the river and the role the river plays in our part of the world, from Glacial Lake Missoula, to wild west history and
- We always leave the river in a better condition than when we arrived.
- We incorporate geo-tourism into each of our trips. We have always stressed cleaning and restoring the river corridor.
We also have so much fun with our themed trips. Birthday parties, bridal and groomsmen parties and corporate fun retreats are special times. You can hear our groups’ laughter rebounding off the canyon walls. We are known for creating huge bouts of laughter. Oh, we can have fun!
We value the importance of families. We want to provide you with the opportunity to strengthen your family bonds, whether it’s your:
- immediate family and friends,
- intergenerational (grandparents, parents, children),
- or broader family reunions.
Because of the nature of rafting, the river provides an incredible opportunity for your family to spend time together without outside interruptions and to laugh together. Be aware that the river can create the opportunity for spontaneous hugs and some quiet time to talk.
Besides everything else the river can do, it is also a wonderful medium to fix things. Several years ago a member of a family contracted a rare form of cancer. As this young adult fought through her debilitating treatments, she and the family became exhausted and discouraged. They came to Montana and we all played on the river for several days. The daughter gained new energy and the family gained new hope and encouragement. Even though the disease won in the end, the time on the river gave weeks of new strength and renewal. We also had a chance to laugh.
The river is the ideal classroom because it contains all the elements of any organization, from family to global corporations. The river can:
