Praline Oven French Toast

This is very rich and really reminds me of a Bread Pudding
Cut 1 loaf French Bread into small bite size pieces and layer in a 9x13 pan.
Wisk together:

  • 8 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 cups real cream
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 TBSP sugar
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg

Pour over the bread, cover and refrigerate over night.
In the morning mix until crumbly:

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • 2 cubes softened butter
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Drop and spread on top of casserole. Bake 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
