The Very Best Soft Sugar Cookie

The girl scouts ate these across 4 states before they reached us for their trip.
- 1 cup margarine
- 1 ½ cup sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 5 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp soda
- 1 tsp salt
Cream margarine and sugar well. Add vanilla, eggs and sour cream and cream again. Add all the rest of the ingredients and cream. Cool dough over night. After dough is chilled roll out 1/3 inch thick on a floured surface and cut into shapes. Bake at 375 for 10-11 minutes. Cookies should be white with no brown edges. Watch baking carefully.
